The rodeo bull featured in this painting has just tossed his rider. Bulls in this moment trot around the arena with a special look in their eye - alert, proud and somehow cocky as they either make their way to the gate, or else have a go at the Rodeo Clowns (now known as Protection Athletes).
Painted on a subtly textured surface on stretched canvas and finished with a satin lacquer process I've developed especially for this series, this piece makes a bold and exciting statement in your home.
The painting is finished with a hand-made timber frame, distressed to complement the textures of the painting. Measuring 94cm by 122cm (including frame), it’s a strong piece that blends power and beauty in equal measure.
