Hand painted window art for your business
Your window can do more than you think!

WHAT IS WINDOW ART?
A hand painted window is a simple way to refresh your shopfront, highlight a promotion, mark a moment or catch attention - without vinyl, posters or blocking your display.

Each window is painted on-site and designed to work with your display - not cover it (unless you want it to).

HOW DO I GET ONE?
Give me a call, tell me what your ideas are and we'll discuss the options that suit you best. Send me a photo of your window. I'll come up with a great idea, you'll tell me you love it and then I'll come and paint your window.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
Introductory first window - $200
This is to give you an incentive to give it a go and find out how effective it is.

Most projects - $250
This cost increases with scale and complexity, but if you budget for $250, you'll get a great window that will encourage people to stop and look. This is way more effective than all those posters we've learnt to ignore.

HOW MUCH LEAD TIME DO I NEED?
It depends on my schedule really. The sooner I know about your deadline, the sooner I can add it to my calendar to make sure I get it done just when you want it. Because I paint windows during the week, they usually don't clash with my weekend services, so I can often do a window at short notice no worries.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
If you're going with normal colours, other than fluoro, they'll last for years if you want them to. Fluoro paint colours really catch the eye, but if the window is exposed to direct sunlight, those colours do fade within a couple of months. But all other colours last. The window can be washed with no damage to the artwork as long as the design doesn't have a lot of semi-transparent areas - most designs don't, but even then, with care, they'll also tolerate gentle washing.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE WINDOW ART?
You've got two options:
1) you can do it yourself
2) I can do it for you

DIY
A window scraper is about $18 (at the moment) from all hardware shops. I can provide that. The trick is to wet the paint with soapy water before scraping, then it all holds together instead of flaking. If you want to go the DIY route, I'll also give you a little instruction sheet. It's not hard work and the advantage is that you can remove it when you want to.

I DO IT FOR YOU
If you'd prefer I remove the window paint for you, I have a minimum callout amount of $150, or you could wait until I'm in your town again doing another window, in which case that fee would be $35. But really, DIY is not hard and if you need it done at a specific time, like immediately after a promotion, it's the best option.
